Celebrating the 10th year of the Blue Spark Awards in 2022!

MTSU’s Blue Spark Awards are Tennessee’s only statewide awards dedicated exclusively to excellence in high school media arts. The competition is presented by the Department of Media Arts at Middle Tennessee State University. The competition’s categories reflect programs offered within MTSU’s College of Media and Entertainment.

MTSU’s Blue Spark Awards covers the following categories:

Non-Fiction or Documentary Film
Scripted Fiction Video
Public Service Announcement (PSA)
Animation
Music Video
Multi-Camera Production
Newscast Compilation
Interactive Media
Photography

Entries for the 2022 competition are due April 10, 2022. Winners will be announced online May 2, 2022.
