Nic Dugger Honored as Distinguished Alumnus – and More!

On October 19th, Media Arts alumnus Nic Dugger was honored with an Distinguished Alumni Award by the MTSU Alumni Association. This is the highest honor bestowed by the association. During his acceptance speech, Dugger asked the College of Media and Entertainment Dean, Ken Paulson, to come up to the podium – where he then handed him a gift of $10,000 for the college.

Dugger is the owner of TNDV Television Inc. His success includes, but isn’t limited to: 12 Emmy® Awards, the NATAS Midsouth Rising Star Award, and the Nashville 40 Under 40.

On October 31st, Dugger was further honored in a national list of Influential Young Executives published by The Business Journals.

The successful alumnus is also known for mentoring current MTSU students. He visits the college for a forum called “Habits of Successful Students”, where he gives advice to attendees on how to prepare for and obtain a successful career after graduating.
