For four days, over thirty EMC and RI students and faculty braved the heat to produce 16 live Bonnaroo performances on The Who Stage for video. EMC Assistant Professor Bob Gordon joined forces with RI professors Michael Fleming and Matt Foglia and a group of volunteer students at Bonnaroo’s “Who Stage”. Gordon and students directed the tapings and students crewed the 8 camera, 24 track digital recordings. Gordon said, “This was a great opportunity for students to learn live, by-the-seat-of-your-pants multicamera production. No other University that I know of does this and we do it alot.” EMC has produced a wide variety of concert and sporting events for such clients as ESPN360, C-USA, TV 30, Nashville Symphony, Capitol Records and CMT Online. “We look forward to Bonnaroo being an annual event for us,” Gordon said.
