MTSU student-run TV station MT10 is producing 7 new shows per week

MT10 is producing seven new shows per week this semester. All seven shows are conceived and produced by MTSU students. This semester’s shows include:

The Rise is a morning news show in the spirit of Good Morning America. The show features live musical performances in the studio, interviews with local citizens, and current event in the community – all delivered in a positive, upbeat fashion.

MT @ Night is a late-night talk show with skits, gags, and lots of fun.

Back 2 Basics premiered this semester as a new sports talk show. The show features sports talk, highlights, and stats of national and local sporting events.

AMP’d is a music-centered show done in conjunction with MTSU student organization AMP Entertainment. The show features live musical performances, artist interviews, and the latest news about music and events in the area and around the country.

Deep Soul features R&B artists from the Middle Tennessee area. Each episode features a different artist.

MT10 News does three live news broadcasts each week and features news weather and sports with a Middle Tennessee focus.

MT10 gives students experience behind the scenes, on camera, with on-air promotion, and managing a television station. Those experiences help students prepare for professional careers in media production and management. MT10 accepts MTSU students with any skill level and a willingness to learn.
